Read These Lips is about collating new lesbian short fiction into handy, single volume compilations, and providing them free to readers. We don't just bring together stories that are already out there; we source for new talent, encourage established writers
to participate, and accept multi-genre short fiction that we compile into free e-books
for you.
Our anthologies are distributed through the internet. We chose the internet to distribute our anthologies rather than print them in book form because the internet is
a medium that connects us more than any other in history, bar television, and has the potential to reach places traditional print media may not. By using Adobe® Reader® we make it easy for readers to access our anthologies anywhere anytime. They are
free to view, free to download and may be printed anywhere.
How are we different?
There have been e-books and e-lit collections around for ages. What you have here, though, is a very good lesbian publication, usually sold for a price either as a book
or an e-book, that we are giving to you Free!
We would love it if you would show it to a friend or two.

We encourage websites, bloggers and lesbian groups to host our anthologies on their premises. We will also distribute them to interested locations, such as literature archives and bookstores.

Why we don't charge for copies
Our publications are beautiful compilations of not just lesbian stories, but also talent and generosity. The writers gave us their stories without charging any fees. The work involved in producing our anthologies is made possible by the pro bono services of
