Read These Lips is about collating new lesbian short writings into handy, single volume compilations, and providing them free to readers. We don't just bring together stories that are already out there; we source for new talent, encourage established writers
to participate, and accept multi-genre short fiction that we compile into free e-books
for you.
Our books are distributed via the internet. We chose the internet to share our books rather than through stores because, bar television, the internet is a medium that connects us more than any other in history and has the potential to reach places
traditional print media may not. By using Adobe® Reader® or any PDF viewer, readers can access our books anywhere anytime.
Our books are free to view, free to download and may be printed for personal use.
How are we different?
E-books and e-lit collections have been around for ages. What we have made is a very good lesbian publication, usually sold for a price either as a book or an e-book, that we are giving to you Free!
We would love it if you would show it to a friend or two.

We give our books to LBTIQ and women-focused collections, literary archives, bookstores and libraries.
Websites, bloggers and lesbian groups are encouraged to hold our books on their premises for the benefit of their viewers and friends. We recommend that you link

Why we don't charge for copies
Our publications are beautiful compilations of not just lesbian stories, but also talent
and generosity. The writers give us their stories without charging any fees. The work involved in producing our anthologies is made possible by the pro bono services of
the RTL team
